Equality for all.

Today is a magical day in history when we, the women around the world, fight against a man who will never deserve to be president and for the rights we so equally deserve. I have never been more proud to stand alongside my sisters around the world.

Yesterday my country allowed a man to gain power as the president of the United States of America. A man who has disrespected women and who has never apologized for his actions. A man who treats women like were nothing.

Like we don’t matter.

Like we don’t have a voice.

But we do have a voice, and we will keep using it until we get what we deserve.

“We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal. And when I meet Thomas Jefferson, I’m a compel him to include women in the sequel!”

He is #Notmypresident, nor will he ever be my president.

Today women everywhere are marching together to defend their bodies, their communities, and their families. Because we the people, have the power to change this. To march as a unity. We walk today standing up for what we know is right.

The constitution does not start with “Me the president”.

It starts with “We the people”.

So never settle with what they give you. If you don’t like it, go out and do something about it. It’s gonna take time like all good things in life, but if you believe in something then you need to say something.

“A platform of hate and division, assumed power yesterday.

But the president is not America.

His cabinet is not America.

Congress is not America.

We are America. And we are here to stay!” – America Ferrera, Women’s March
